Why Intern with Us?

As a DTLS intern, you’ll be part of a talented team working on real-world projects that impact communities. We offer a hybrid environment, focused on a studio setting with the flexibility to work remotely as needed.  The position is full-time, ranging from 30-40 hours per week, paying an hourly living wage, and providing a rich learning environment to grow your skills and contribute to meaningful design work.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Landscape Architects and Designers on a wide range of projects

  • Assist project team members with various support tasks, such as preparing reports, presentations, and graphics

  • Conduct basic research and data collection related to project requirements

  • Maintain organized records, collections, and files for specific projects

  • Contribute to the development of visual materials, including renderings and site plans

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the project team

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture 

  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft

  • Strong graphic, communication, and organizational skills

  • A willingness to learn, contribute, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment

  • Passion for landscape architecture, design, and sustainability

  • Relocation and housing are not provided by DTLS
